Thurber’s Columbus
When: Now through August 18
Where: The Ohio State University Thompson Library, 1858 Neil Avenue Mall, Columbus
James Thurber was one of the most popular writers and cartoonists of the mid-twentieth century and he grew up in Columbus. This exhibition explores how our city was affected by James Thurber and the imprint he left on Columbus.

Ohio Wine Festival
When: July 12-13
Where: North Market, 59 Spruce Street, Columbus
Sample the fruit of the vine from about 20 of Ohio’s wineries, enjoy live music, and browse vendors.

Westerville Music and Arts Festival
When: July 13-14
Where: Heritage Park, 60 N. Cleveland Avenue, Westerville
Live performances (including the Reaganomics on Saturday), food, and over 130 local and national artisans!

Franklin County Fair
When: July 13-20
Where: Franklin County Fairgrounds, 4100 Columbia Street, Hilliard

Ohio State Fair
When: July 24 – August 4
Where: Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus
Butter cow, Sale of Champions Livestock Auction, All-Ohio State Fair Band and Choir, Giant Slide and the SkyGlide, animals, and deep-fried everything! Talk about something for everyone!

The Grandview Hop
When: July 27
Where: Grandview Avenue, between 1st and 5th Avenues, Columbus
Live music, shopping, art, food, and fun activities. Sounds like a good time!

Dublin Irish Festival
When: August 2-4
Where: Coffman Park, 5200 Emerald Parkway, Dublin
