Columbus Clippers Home Opener!

Where: Huntington Park
The Columbus Clippers, the Triple-A Affiliate of the Cleveland Indians, will welcome the Durham Bulls to Columbus for opening night! Celebrate 10 years of baseball at Huntington Park. Ring your bell!

Family Food Truck Festival
When: April 12, 2018, from 5:30-8:00 p.m.
Where: Northwest Library, 2280 Hard Road, Columbus
Tasty food truck fair! Plus, bubbles, hula hoops, face painting, and sidewalk chalk for the kids!

Columbus Metropolitan Library Big Book Sale
When: April 13-15, 2018
Where: 96 S. Grant Street, Columbus
The annual Friends of the Library Big Book Sale is a great place to find books for all ages, plus gifts and clearance merchandise too.

Ohio State Football Spring Game
When: April 14, 2018, approximate 1:45 p.m. start time
Where: Ohio Stadium
Ryan Shazier and Malcolm Jenkins will serve as honorary coaches at this popular spring event. Get a glimpse at who will be replacing J.T. Barrett at quarterback too! Prior to the football game, the Ohio State men’s lacrosse team will host Michigan. One purchased ticket will allow admission into both events. Tickets are $5 and parking is free.

Step Up For Stefanie’s Champions
When: April 21, 2018, at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, 1145 Olentangy River Road, Columbus
This event offers 4-mile run and 1-mile walk options, and a post-race celebration. Over the last 16 years, Stefanie’s Champions has raised more than $1.7 million for the Spielman Fund, which supports breast cancer research conducted at The James.

Shred-It Day
When: April 21, 2018, from 7:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon
Where: Ohio Expo Center parking lots, closest to Mapfre Stadium in Columbus
NCB4 and Shred-It Columbus will partner for the 15th year to provide free document destruction! This is a drive-through only event. Fight identity theft and clean out those filing cabinets in one fell swoop!

Earth Day
When: April 22, 2018, from 11:00-7:00 p.m.
Where: Genoa Park in Downtown Columbus
Events range from neighborhood litter sweeps, community gardens, river cleanups to tree planting and invasive species removal. A week of service activities (April 14-21), followed by a celebration at Genoa Park on Sunday, April 22. Sign up to donate, sponsor or volunteer!

Moonlight Zip Line Tour
When: April 27-28, 2018

Spring returns with hundreds of colorful butterflies! Newly emerged butterflies are released during educational presentations daily at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Check out classes for kids and adults, as well as other events…fun for the whole family!
