In November, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country, celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, and battle that team up north!

Ohio State v. Michigan Blood Battle
When: now – November 22
Where: American Red Cross
For more than 30 years, students and fans of The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan have taken their battle off the field to help save lives through their annual Blood Battle. Who will bring in the most blood donations this year? Michigan won in 2016 by just 8 donations – come on Buckeye Nation, let’s win the blood battle this year!!

Veterans Day Events
Columbus:  November 9 parade at 12:00 noon (from Nationwide Boulevard down High Street to Broad Street)
Hilliard:  November 11 parade at 10:00 a.m. (from Franklin County Fairgrounds down Main Street to Veterans Memorial Plaza at Municipal Park), followed by a brief ceremony
Dublin:  November 13 ceremony at 11:00 a.m., Grounds of Remembrance in Dublin Veterans Park, N High Street, just north of the Dublin Library.  Veterans and their families are invited to enjoy a complimentary breakfast at La Chatelaine, 65 W Bridge Street, prior to the ceremony.

Ohio Made Holiday Market
When: November 11, 12:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Where: Hollywood Casino, 200 Georgesville Road, Columbus

Ohio Star Ball
When: November 14-19
Where: Hyatt Regency, 350 N High Street, Columbus 43215
All the spins, twirls, cha chas, and quick steps will be under one roof!

Holiday Lighting Ceremony and Santa Arrival Parade
When: November 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Easton Town Center
Watch as the 50 foot Christmas tree is illuminated, have your photo taken with Santa, and many other surprises during this magical night!

Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival
When: November 17, 2017 – January 7, 2018 (nightly from 5:30-10:00 p.m.)
Where: Ohio Expo Center
The Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival showcases Chinese art and culture through the exhibition of 28 Chinese lantern installations using traditional Chinese methods and more than 15,000 LED lights in brilliant colors. Visitors will stroll through the park outfitted with illuminating lantern sculptures of animals, flowers and nature and holiday figures.

Powell Turkey Trot
When: November 23 at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Village Green Pavilion
Come and celebrate family, friends & fitness and indulge in the beauty of Historic Downtown Powell, while completing this 4-mile tree lined course. The Thanksgiving festivities will begin at Village Green Pavilion with a book drive and other opportunities to give back.

Holiday Open House
When: November 26, 12:00-5:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Worthington
Enjoy musical entertainment, visit Santa, sample holiday snacks, take a carriage ride, and enjoy holiday decorations in downtown Worthington. Local retailers will be offering special promotions too! Beginning at 5:00 p.m., there will be activities on the southeast Village Green, prior to the 5:30 tree lighting celebration.

Main Street Delaware 2017 Christmas Parade
When: December 3 at 3:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Delaware
Yes, we know this event is in December, but mark your calendar so you don’t miss out on the fun! The parade theme this year is, “Delaware: Your Home for the Holidays” and promises to be an event you will not want to miss! The parade starts at Mingo Park and ends at Wilmer Street in downtown Delaware. Bring your family to see the floats, animals, and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus!
