Columbus Clippers Home Opener!

Where: Huntington Park
Back-to-Back-to-Back West Division Champion Columbus Clippers welcome the Louisville Bats to Columbus for opening night! Ring your bell!

Eggs, Paws and Claws
When: April 14 and 15, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Where: Columbus Zoo & Aquarium, 4850 Powell Road, Powell
A two-day eggs-tremely fun event! Watch aqua bunny Peter Cottontail swim with the fish in the 100,000-gallon tank in Discovery Reef. Get your picture taken with the Easter bunny! Story time with your favorite bunny tales. And, watch the zoo animals search, eat, squash or just stare at colored eggs.

Ohio State Football Spring Game
When: April 15, 2017, at 12:30 p.m.
Where: Ohio Stadium
Guest coaches for the scarlet and gray teams are Hall of Fame coach Lou Holtz and NIKE Inc. Chairman Emeritus Phil Knight. Ohio State’s spring roster has 48 lettermen on it and includes 16 seniors and 24 juniors. Tickets are $5 and parking is free.

Easter Dining
When: April 16, 2017
The hunt is over! Break bread with friends and family on Easter Sunday. Here are some restaurants with specials, set menus, and other Easter offerings.

Earth Day
When: April 22, 2017, from 1:00-7:00 p.m.
Where: Columbus Commons, Downtown Columbus
Events range from neighborhood litter sweeps, community gardens, river cleanups to tree planting and invasive species removal. A week of service activities (April 8-15), followed by a celebration at Columbus Commons on Saturday, April 22. Sign up to donate, sponsor or volunteer!

Step Up For Stefanie’s Champions
When: April 22, 2017, at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center, 1145 Olentangy River Road, Columbus
This event offers 4-mile run and 1-mile walk options, and a post-race celebration. Over the last 16 years, Stefanie’s Champions has raised more than $1.7 million for the Spielman Fund, which supports breast cancer research conducted at The James.

Capital City Half Marathon
When: April 29, 2017, at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Start on Front Street at the intersection of Front Street and W Town Street, Columbus
The best tour of Columbus on two feet! Participate in the Capital City Half Marathon, the Quarter Marathon, or the Commit To Be Fit 5K.

Blooms & Butterflies
When: now-September 17, 2017
Where: Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 1777 East Broad Street, Columbus
Spring returns with hundreds of colorful butterflies! Newly emerged butterflies are released during educational presentations daily at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Check out classes for kids and adults, as well as other events…fun for the whole family!
