In November, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country, celebrate Thanksgiving with family and friends, and battle that team up north!

Ohio State v. Michigan Blood Battle
When: November 1 – 23, 2016
Where: American Red Cross
For more than 30 years, students and fans of The Ohio State University and the University of Michigan have taken their battle off the field to help save lives through their annual Blood Battle. Who will bring in the most blood donations this year?

Veterans Day Events
Columbus: November 10 ceremony at City Hall at 10:30 a.m.; parade at 12:00 noon (from Nationwide Boulevard down High Street to Broad Street)
Dublin: November 11 ceremony at 11:00 a.m., Grounds of Remembrance in Dublin Veterans Park, Dublin Road and Indian Run Drive (a piper will lead the veterans from La Chatelaine at 10:35 a.m. to the Grounds of Remembrance for the ceremony)
Hilliard: November 11 parade at 7:00 p.m. (from Franklin County Fairgrounds down Main Street to Veterans Memorial Plaza at Municipal Park), followed by a brief ceremony

USA v. Mexico (2018 FIFA World Cup Qualifying Final Round)
When: November 11 at 7:45 p.m.
Where: Mapfre Stadium
The USA v. Mexico rivalry returns to Columbus!

Ohio Star Ball

Holiday Lighting Ceremony and Santa Arrival Parade
When: November 18 at 6:30 p.m.
Where: Easton Town Center
Watch as the 50 foot Christmas tree is illuminated, have your photo taken with Santa, and many other surprises during this magical night!

Ohio Made Holiday Market
When: November 19, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Where: The Grand Event Center at Grandview Yard, 820 Goodale Boulevard, Grandview Heights

Main Street Delaware 2016 Christmas Parade
When: November 20 at 3:00 p.m.
Where: Downtown Delaware
The parade theme this year is, “A Delaware Christmas Story” and promises to be an event you will not want to miss! The parade starts at Mingo Park and ends at Wilmer Street in downtown Delaware. Bring your family to see the floats, animals, and a special appearance by Santa and Mrs. Claus!

Powell Turkey Trot
When: November 24 at 8:00 a.m.
Where: Village Green Pavilion, 47 Hall Street, Powell
Come and celebrate family, friends & fitness and indulge in the beauty of Historic Downtown Powell, while completing this 4-mile tree lined course. The Thanksgiving festivities will begin at Village Green Pavilion with a food drive to support local area food banks. Please bring non-perishable food items to show your thanks!!

Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival
When: November 25, 2016 – January 2, 2017
Where: Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Avenue, Columbus 43211
The Ohio Chinese Lantern Festival showcases Chinese art and culture through the exhibition of 28 Chinese lantern installations using traditional Chinese methods and more than 15,000 LED lights in brilliant colors. Visitors will stroll through the park outfitted with illuminating lantern sculptures of animals, flowers and nature and holiday figures.
