It’s hard to believe that the days are getting shorter and summer is already starting to wane – it goes so fast!
My favorite season of the year is slowly giving way to football, a new school year, and thoughts of pumpkin patches and leaves changing color. Fortunately, the warm weather will still be here for a while.
As is typical of most years, the real estate market has taken its late summer snooze and the number of new listings to the market has slowed for the past few weeks to an almost painful pace to the dismay of many home buyers. As the cooler temperatures arrive, I expect to see a corresponding increase in the number of homes hitting the market and real estate will wake up and likely stay strong until the snows of January and February cause the next seasonal slowdown.
One of the questions that I get a lot this time of year is, “Did I miss the season?” Absolutely not, there’s still time! In fact, for my team, October, November, and December are usually busier months than August. On top of that, statistically, homes sell for a higher percentage of asking price in those months too!
My team and I offer FREE no obligation pre-purchase and pre-listing consultations to show you how you can best take advantage of today’s market. Call us…we can help!
