Spring returns with hundreds of colorful butterflies! Educational presentations daily at 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. Check out classes for kids and adults, as well as other events…fun for the whole family!

Day of Storytelling
When: April 16, 2016
Where: Highbanks Metro Park, 9466 Columbus Pike, Lewis Center
Enjoy live story performances celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Ohio Order for the Preservation of Storytelling. Professional storyteller and author Lyn Ford joins other Ohio voices with traditional tales, personal stories, tall tales, and more! Fun for all ages! Earth Day
When: When: April 16-23, 2016
The goal is to plant 20,000 trees in addition to many other green-themed projects. A week of service activities, followed by a celebration at Columbus Commons on Saturday. Sign up to donate, sponsor or volunteer!

Off-Trail Froggy Hike
When: April 23, 2016 at 7:00 p.m.
Where: Glacier Ridge Metro Park, 7825 Hyland Croy Road, Plain City
Try your luck at capturing frogs and toads on a 1-mile off-trail hike. All animals will be released back to the wetland at the end of the program. Dress accordingly. All ages!

2016 Ohioana Book Festival
When: April 23, 2016
Where: Sheraton Columbus on Capitol Square, 75 East State Street, Columbus
More than 110 Ohio authors, panel discussions, activities for children and young adults, a book fair, food trucks, and more. Something for every reader of every age!

Step Up For Stefanie’s Champions
When: April 23, 2016 at 9:00 a.m.
Where: Stefanie Spielman Comprehensive Breast Center
The event will offer 4-mile run and 1-mile walk options, a post-race celebration, and appearances by Chris Spielman, Michael A. Caligiuri, MD and other Spielman Fund celebrity supporters.

Capital City Half Marathon

Where: Starts at Scioto Mile
The best tour of Columbus on two feet! Participate in the Capital City Half Marathon, the Quarter Marathon, or the Commit To Be Fit 5K.
