Spring is a great time to aerate and over seed your lawn if your lawn looks thin from the winter months. If you do choose to do this, do not put down a pre-emergent (Step One fertilizer) because it will not allow the seeds to germinate. If your lawn does not look thin from the winter, we would suggest waiting until the fall to aerate and over seed. This will allow you to put the pre-emergent down to prevent any crab grass from growing in your lawn. For more information, feel free to call or e-mail and we will be happy to help!
